About the Pakistan citizen portal
Download citizen portal for android and IOS. this app is special design for pakistani citizens.
Pakistan Citizen
Portal is an integrated citizens grievance redressal system connecting all
government organizations both at federal and provincial levels. The system will
serve as carrier of complaints to their respective offices across all over
Pakistan. Eventually, the citizen feedback will be linked to an officer’s
performance and promotion. The App will serve as complementary channel between
citizen and government ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan launched ‘Pakistan CitizenPortal’ with an aim to timely address problems of the people and get
their feedback.
PM Khan briefed the media about the functioning and procedure of addressing
the complaints from all the cities.
He said, “Most important thing is that we will make policies
through the voice of the public and we have to deliver an answer within a
limited time frame.”
The prime minister said that women and minorities and overseas
Pakistanis, especially the labor force, will have voice for the first time on
whether embassies are being fair to them or not.
“This has been developed in-house by our young individuals. These
are our homegrown individuals who developed this system. The change that was
brought about in KP was because of this system that was developed by them”, he
said.
Imran Khan said that the ministers will realize that their primary
aim is to serve the public.
He further said, “Naya Pakistan will be made when the public owns
the country”.
“It will be easier for me to get details of all the complaints
from all around the country on what kind of complaints are being filed in. This
will also make it easier for us to punish or reward officials of the
government”, the premier said.
He said that “most of the complaints are about corruption and now
we will know what is happening in all ministries and offices”.
“To get out of the burden of loans, investors will have to come
into the country and through this complaint cell they can tell what is
happening and what needs to be done”, Imran added.
He further said that “our future is that we want to bring about a
level or governance that has never been done before so that investors come into
the country”.
How it works
The portal is a simple tool that allow citizens to register
themselves through an app and send their complaints to the concerned governmentdepartments.
Talking to media, Deputy Secretary of Prime Minister’s Delivery
Unit (PMDU) Adil Saeed Safi said after registering himself with the portal,
every citizen whether he or she is in Pakistan or lives abroad can register a
complaint online through an app which would be run through beta android
version.
However, efforts are being made to include IOS version so that
citizens having iPhone can also register their complaints.
A report regarding the status of complaints received would be
regularly sent to the premier.
